PSA on Acessability, Safety, participation and support and What to bring, if you want to sweat with us

Accessibility:
The location of our public Sweat-In is at Paul-Löbe-Allee, left of Bundestag. The Ubahn Stop “Bundestag” has a lift.

Please check your traffic connection on this day, since BVG will be affected by some strike action. (No shame in that, all solidarity to organized
labour!!!)

Our Sauna is only acessable via stairs. We are happy to offer assistance if need be.

Please come tested for Covid or stay at home if you feel sick. Please bring masks so you can wear a mask, if we stand close together, or you share a Sauna with somone who feels safer with you wearing a mask.

Bitte prüft eure Verkehrsanbindung an diesem Tag, da die BVG von einigen Streiks betroffen sein wird. (Das ist keine Schande, alle Solidarität mit der organisierten
Arbeiter*innenschaft!!!)

Unsere Sauna ist nur über eine Treppe zu erreichen. Wir sind gerne bereit, bei Bedarf Hilfe anzubieten.

Bitte macht einen Covid Test bevor ihr kommt und bleibt zu Hause, wenn ihr euch krank fühlt. Bitte bringt Masken mit, falls wir dicht beieinander stehen oder falls ihr die Sauna mit jemandem teilt, di*er sich sicherer fühlt, wenn alle Maske tragen.

a mask (don’t worry we have spare ones) and be tested;
please bring a towel or bathrobe or both;
please bring an umbrella, for if it rains or some unwanted camera pops up, umbrellas are really useful;
Water (if you sweat you need to stay hydrated); snacks, if you want to stay for some time;

buendnis.selbstbestimmung#Sicherheit : Ab 14 Uhr haben wir unseren TERF-Fanclub als Nachbarn am Bundestag. Um eine möglichst gute Zeit zu haben und die Sauna so gut wie möglich zu genießen, müssen wir über Sicherheit sprechen!
Wir wissen, dass die Polizei nicht für unsere Sicherheit sorgt, und wir möchten die Polizei möglichst aus dem Spiel halten, damit sich alle, die eine trans-, inter und nicht-binär inklusive Sauna besuchen, willkommen fühlen können – nicht nur weiße Geschwister mit dem richtigen Pass! buendnis.selbstbestimmung#ParticipationAndSupport : You think we’re to funny going through with this crazy idea of bringing a sauna to the German parliament and you want to support that kind of humor? Nice!
Indeed we need some support. With some TERFy friends around the block and a public sweat-chamber full of genderf*cks, transes and intersexys it’s paramount we have some helping hands. We need people willing to support us in monitoring the TERFs and being there with an eye on everyone’s safety (preferably with some experience in deescalation and self-defense).
Further more, we’d be happy to have 2-3 people at any given time who are there as an awareness team. And in any case, some helping hands are always great because there is always something one needs help with.
If you want to support us with any of these tasks or know a friend who’d be up for it, please contact us, so we can coordinate and brief you with what you need to know.
