ACSD 2025 – INVITATION TO OPEN ASSEMBLY

Hello dear comrades and fellow queers,
pride season is upon us and so are waves of fascism and transphobia – all the more reason the be extra loud, visible and queer this year!

In the past years, there always has been an ACSD (Anarchist CSD) in Berlin, but for this summer, there’s been nothing planned so far. We, a group of random people who like the concept of an Anarchist CSD, thought that was a pity. For that, we want to hold an OPEN ASSEMBLY on Wednesday, the 10th of May, at 7pm (location not set yet, we are looking for a wheelchair accessible space – if you know anything, feel free to write us!).

Goals of the assembly are to check out capacities, share our visions and form a structure to continue with the planning. We will also decide whether we have the capacities to organize our own rally or if we will create a block for one of the other prides happening.

Right now,  most of us come from anarchist spaces that are mostly white-dominated and often not as self-reflected and inclusive as we would like them to be. We are aware that BIPoC centered groups often get invited to protests/events organized by white-dominated spaces who try to thereby diversify their image. We understand if you do not want to be part of the orga for this reason. Still – we understand anarchy as the mutlitude of different struggles and tactics to attack this oppressive system. Every anarchist pride will only be as powerful and beautiful as the multitude of struggles, tactics and identities it is connecting!

So come along and join us in struggle – whether you are a newbie at demo organization or have been in the game for years, whether you are an artist wanting to contribute or a random person (like most of us) enjoying the idea of a beautiful, wild and anarchist CSD! We also try to be an accessible space for all disabled people. For example there will be the option to join the assembly online. So far we have been communicating in German and English spoken/written language.
