AFRO HAIR WORKSHOP

Topics:
1. Braids (Box braids and Cornrows)
2. Haircare( wash routines, right products and tools)
3. Dreadlocs( washing of locs, right products, locs retwist) + starting locs

In this workshop, participants will be taught on the topics listed above. Mannequins/ model will be used to give detailed examples on how its done. Braiding materials will be provided. After which the participants has the chance to practice on each other or with the Mannequins. In cases of right use of products/ tools in regards to haircare/ dreadlocs, products/ tools will be displayed and explanations given on how to use them.

The workshop lasts for a period of 4 hours (12pm-4pm) on 24th February, 2024 and will take place in a very spacious and conducive environment (In Rosie’s salon , Theodor-loos-weg 51,12353 Neukölln Wutzkyalle). The workshop will be in English but Rosie can also translate into German if needed.

Afro-Haar Workshop

3. Dreadlocs (Waschen von Locs, richtige Produkte, Locs retwist) + Beginn von Locs
In diesem Workshop werden die Teilnehmer zu den oben genannten Themen unterrichtet. Anhand von Mannequins/ Modellen wird detailliert gezeigt, wie es geht. Das Flechtmaterial wird zur Verfügung gestellt. Danach haben die Teilnehmer die Möglichkeit, aneinander oder an den Puppen zu üben. Wenn es um die richtige Verwendung von Produkten/ Werkzeugen in Bezug auf Haarpflege/ Dreadlocs geht, werden die Produkte/ Werkzeuge gezeigt und erklärt, wie sie zu verwenden sind.
Der Workshop dauert 4 Stunden (12-16 Uhr) am 24. Februar 2024 und findet in einer sehr geräumigen und angenehmen Atmosphäre statt (in Rosie’s Salon, Theodor-loos-weg 51,12353 Neukölln Wutzkyalle). Der Workshop wird auf Englisch abgehalten, aber Rosie kann bei Bedarf auch ins Deutsche übersetzen.
