From Arab-pop to techno and beyond. Perfect for connecting and enjoying the summer vibes. We will also pack some school starting packages for kids that live in refugee accomodation centers. CCelebrating in times of crisis might seem counterintuitive, but it’s also during these moments of hardship that we need to honor the human capacity for resilience, empathy, and solidarity. The suffering we witness, whether in Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, Syria or elsewhere, reminds us of the fragility of life and the urgency of compassion. Yet, it’s also a reminder that we are capable of creating moments of connection and joy, even amid tragedy.
Here in Berlin, celebrating the support for refugees, collaborating with our local queer communities and supporting them to keep the intersectional fight, is our refusal to be consumed by despair. It’s a recognition that while wars rage, women’s rights are stripped away and human made famine persists, many of us still seek to help, heal, and rebuild.
Honoring these acts of kindness isn’t about ignoring the pain of the world, it’s about amplifying the hope that emerges from it. Because even in war and suffering, moments of shared humanity and hope are what ultimately keep us going.

As reports grow of mass starvation in Gaza, amid stated plans for military escalation and annexation of the territory, we are reminded of the cost of war and the western support of it. We therefore encourage all participants of this event to sign the petitions to the German chancellor to
