🦨🪕 RUEN + PIGEON PIT IN BERLIN🪕🏴‍☠️

☆ 6 PM food, 7 PM music
We will start into the evening at 6 with a warm vegan meal for everyone and open the stage at 7 for a concert that will make you dance and cry in all the best ways!

After that we have an exciting spontanous contribution to the program: an input to
olive harvesting in the West Bank, Palestine

For the Palestinian population in the West Bank, the olive is more than just material to produce olive oil, one of the cornerstones of their cuisine. It also represents sustainability, food sovereignty and, perhaps most importantly, the ongoing struggle for the land. That is why the olive harvest season is, every year, one of the most important expressions of sumud — resistance through remaining on the land despite the hardships and violence imposed by the Zionist settler-colonial project. In 2025, several Palestinian collectives joined forces in 2025 to organise the Zaytoun 2025 campaign, calling on international volunteers, as well as people from across Palestine, to join them in a mutual aid initiative against the recurring attacks carried out by settlers and soldiers.

The campaign unfolded much as expected: daily harassment, dozens of cars set on fire, hundreds of tear gas canisters fired, thousands of trees cut down, and people hospitalised, detained and deported. Yet amid the escalating violence of the Zionist occupation, the words of a farmer from the village of Al-Nazla Al-Sharkyia, in Tulkarem, resonated as a call to persevere: “We are tired of this life. But I will keep trying to reach my land. I am still here. I am still here. I am still here. I will not leave my land. This is my land.”

In this conversation, we want to discuss the importance of joining Zaytoun 2026, this year’s olive harvest campaign, which is set to begin in October.

After the input we close the night with the concert by pigeon pit, starting at 8:30 and going until 10 pm

See you tomorrow loves and take care of each other so we can be dangerous together! ☆
