In this workshops i like to mix my personal practice and exploration of movement with more technical skills I learned from dance and physical theatre, providing a space where you can try out different approaches to movement and find something that feels good and empowering, or hopefully find or expand your own practice.
Sessions propose different exercises ranging from connection to rythm, trust, expressivity and gesture, improvisation, while also continuing working on foundations of presence, safety and elasticity in movement, connection and listening.
Examples of what can be proposed in a session:
– gentle movement and muscle activation/ powerful energizing movements
– „walking“ exercises: awareness of space and the group, playing, listening and trust
– exploring presence and projecting presence while improvising movement/ connecting to the source of the movement
– (sometimes )voice exploration, visualization
-Improvisation
-Sharing thoughts
-Nothing is ever mandatory and you decide how/if to engage with what is proposed
