Rest as Protest: Exploring Acts of Freedom & Self-Preservation
This is a safer space only for FLINTA* migrants, refugees, and those with migrant or refugee backgrounds.
This seminar explores the vital role of rest in the lives of Black, Indigenous & POC communities. Together, we’ll reflect on:
- What rest can look like
- Rest as a form of protest
- Non-Western perspectives on rest
Alongside these conversations, you’ll also experience an exercise in rest — you’ll also be guided through an exercise in rest, experiencing what it means to reclaim time as freedom.
